We bought these as a birthday present to my mom and she loved them! We tried them out ourselves, and even we are thinking of getting a pair for us. The bass is great, as is the noise cancellation. Volume is so good that even my mom (who has bad hearing) can hear everything through them just fine. For over the ears headphones they are very comfortable to wear. These are really good quality headphones. The fact that they can collapse/fold up for travel and whatnot is a really cool feature, too. It also has a nice, long cord. I'd highly recommend these!
